Marion L. Snyder, PhD


Dr. Snyder spearheads Clearwater’s research and scientific development programs. As author of more than 50 textbook chapters, peer-reviewed articles, and published abstracts in the fields of analytical and clinical chemistry and toxicology, Dr. Snyder is recognized as a leader in the field of high technology and critical outcomes lab development and operation.


Prior to Luxor Scientific, Dr. Snyder taught at Harvard University School of Medicine, and led the development of the first clinical toxicology laboratory employing definitive LC-MS/MS testing at the renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She oversaw technical operations of the Greenville (SC) Health System (now Prisma) clinical laboratories, served as President of a well-recognized national reference laboratory and, more recently, as Chief Science Officer and Lab Director of Luxor Scientific clinical and pharmacogenetic laboratories.


Dr. Snyder is fellowship trained in chemistry and toxicology at Emory Medical School and is Board Certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry. She holds and PhD in analytical chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
