Emily Ryan leads development and deployment of scientific solutions, and represents Clearwater Biotech to the regulatory community. Dr. Ryan leads our integration of biotech, clinical and pharmacogenetic results, focused on providing the most comprehensive clinical applications in the industry.
Prior to Luxor Scientific Emily studied and taught at Emory University School of Medicine and led the redesign and activation of the Emory Serious Communicable Diseases Unit laboratory (Atlanta, GA) during the Ebola outbreak. She has worked with Genentech (Roche Group) in San Francisco, CA, served as Scientific Director with specific responsibility for pharmacogenetics testing at a well-recognized national laboratory, and currently serves as Clinical Laboratory Scientific Leader with Navicent Health.
Dr. Ryan holds as BS degree in biochemistry/chemistry from the University of California, San Diego; and an MS degree in clinical research and a PhD degree in biochemistry and developmental biology from Emory University’s Langley Graduate School.
